Inspired Stamps Fall Card

The Design Team at Inspired Stamps was given our choice of design today and I chose FALL! Why? Because it has been over 100 here in N. Texas and I want FALL to hurry up! I chose again to use a sentiment and cute pumpkin from the Fall Gratitude stamp set. I stamped the pumpkin on the back of glitter paper and then cut it out. I placed it in the hands of the February Hymn Girl
The mat behind her was created by randomly stamping leaves from the Leaves stamp set.

Be sure to return on Monday when we kick off 30 days of Christmas showcasing card inspiration!

Fall Inspired Stamps Card

I promise, Fall will return! Of course here in N. TX it will be later rather than sooner but in the meantime, I can dream of cooler days and plump pumpkins with my Fall stamps from Inspired Stamps!

Today's card combines a couple of my favorite stamp sets. The basket and sentiment come from the Leaves set and the pumpkins are from Fall Gratitude. For the inside scripture I used one of  the stamps from the Thanksgiving stamp set. Don't forget to visit the Inspired Stamps Blog to see all the beautiful Fall cards.

Inspired Stamps Scripture Card

Today I am sharing a Scripture card using another great $3.99 stamp from Inspired
Stamps.  Romans 15:13 is such an encouraging scripture in so many situations.
I stamped the verse on vellum.
Be sure you stop by the Inspired Stamps blog to see more scripture cards by our amazing team of artists! And, don't be surprised if you start seeing even more pink, bling and bows from me.  I am going to be a 1st time Mimi in December and it's a GIRL!

Stash Buster Challenge

The Crafty Scrapper, my favorite place on earth, is having a Stash Buster Challenge. I decided to play along since my stash overfloweth!  Everything I used has been sitting in my scraproom for 6 months to 5 years!  I started with a 5x7 canvas board that I bought months ago for some project I saw on-line that I just HAD to make.  Sad thing is, I don't remember now what the project was!  I then used my never before used Tim Holtz stencil I bought last Fall to make a background of holly.  I used a sponge dauber and Tim Holtz ink for the branches and leaves.  Then I used a thin coat of gesso to cover it all.  After that dried I used FIVE YEAR old red liquid pearls for the berries.

The rest was a matter of going through my Christmas leftovers box to complete the board.  The music page is an actual sheet of the Hallelujah Chorus from my college years copy of the Messiah!  We had 2 copies so I have been using one over the last several years for projects.  The Dec. 25 was adhered to a flat back facet with Diamond Glaze-I have been wanting to try that ever since "Tim" showed the technique on his blog years ago!  The little bottled tree with glitter was left from some of my craft show projects from last year. A little tinsel and sparkly snowflake add the bling I love.

That was fun!  A few pieces of my stash used and a bazillion to go!
